PROJECT in a box has been primarily designed to run over an organisations own network meaning that security is aimed mainly at the user level with options for Authorisation at log on.

PROJECT in a box clients can also be installed on computers outside the organisations own network and will still be able to connect in and access live project information if the computer IP address or server name is known and the user account and passwords are correct.

When operating remotely and connecting to your companies PROJECT in a box server over the Internet the system supports the use of SSL certificates which when installed on the client PC and the server PC will encrypt all traffic between the two ensuring that information will be safe in transit.
