When you are operating with no network or Internet connection possible from your local client to the server you will not be able to access materials live from the server however you should still be able to access your local file storage locations notably your check-in/out folder (my files).

This enables laptop users to continue to work on files they have already checked out to local storage.  The links to these folders can be obtained from Main menu > File > Special folders and selecting these options will open the root locations allowing you to browse to the required project or portfolio (in the case of the reports location) folders to access files to view or work on.

Alternatively the My files button on the quick clicks menu will always take you directly to your checkout/in folder structure.
