There will be times when managing your projects that you don't want to view or distribute a file at a time but would rather package and distribute a whole document with all its constituent files.

This can be achieved with the Send button (email/envelope icon) in the document area when in advanced mode (rather than the file area) at the top of the File Explorer form.  This packages the whole document including all it's subordinate files to be 'sent' by a single email as a copy. This is effectively a view rather than a check out (and treated as such by the naming conventions) and includes the current version of checked out files within the document as well .

The selected document is indicated in the document dialogue box and the user can decide whether to zip the extracted files or not before they are attached to the message (zip settings managed in the Options form).

When sending files by email here as a collection is the same is individual files and the email options will be the same either creating an Outlook message or using the SMTP send method depending on your user option set.

The Save Local Copy option available for a document on the right click menu undertakes the same action but saves the document to a chosen folder location rather than attaches it to an email.
