All reports produced within the system are stored in a consistent manner.  Firstly each report is packaged to enable it to be viewed, printed or distributed in a standalone manner using the format preferences of the user and therefore all the HTML, style sheets and images required to produce the report are provided in a simple folder.  The folder name includes the report title and a time/date stamp to ensure it is unique when stored by the system in the Project (or Portfolio) specific folder.

The user can define where they want reports produced by each project to be saved to and this is part of the user/client options form the default setting is for the system to create a folder for each project (and Portfolio) under the root directory ..\my documents\piab\.. and place them here.  Wherever the folder is set up to be it can be accessed immediately from the Open Folder.. button at the bottom of the Portfolio and Project report forms.

In the user/client options (on the Paths tab) the user can decide if they want their reports to be uniquely date/time stamped or not by means of a flag.  If this flag is set all reports will be stored separately meaning all reports produced will be kept and each new report will write to a new folder.  If the flag is not set each report type will overwrite the previous version of that type of report.
